Presistence, Do you have it?

It’s been 11 months since I set out on my journey, and every day I learn something new. In all areas of life, I realize no matter how hard it gets, if I am persistent, I will be able to keep the motivation and drive going, eventually overcoming the obstacle in front of me.

It all comes down to how bad you want it, most of the time; but if you SUCK at what you’re doing and you know it, STOP!  However, if you don’t know it, someone needs to tell you, and if they don’t they have failed at being a good friend, or colleague.

Persistence keeps you in the game for only so long. It allows for people to be moving forward even when there is pressure or push back. Though you may slowdown, you are not stopped completely.
What do you want as the end result? If you think there is an answer, a light at the end of the tunnel, and you are anticipating the end, you have great persistence.

What have we stopped doing that made us quit?

Why did you stop?

Things may look big, but who cares. Sometimes it’s not always about the “W” but what lessons are learned from the events that took place of where you ended up.

I have been so driven and persistent to build a program and teaching leadership that people have told me over and over to never stop doing what I am doing, so I won’t. Not until I know it’s over.

My advice to you, find a dream, and drive towards the dream. But make sure you are doing what you love and know that it is what you are made for. Know your strengths, and where you lack ability, be humble, and get moving. Punch persistence in the face and become who you want to be.
